The Big Secret About Quantum Computing

PM Justin Trudeau made American conservative politicians look even all the more relatively stupid while impressively detailing some basic aspects of quantum computing with an assortment of physics equations in the background. Imagine Donald Trump's explanation: "I have many friends who work with computers and they tell me it's going to be great. Really great. It will make our military huge and no one will push America around again."

The PM talked about how traditional computers use 1s and 0s which go in and out of the wire connected to a computer whilst quantum computers aren't limited to 1s and 0s. However, what scientists and the general public miss when thinking about the advancement of quantum computing is how the sheer power of the new computer will affect the world. In fact, one could say that we really cannot predict what societal changes will occur after QC gets rolling and that it is impossible to know what will happen until it happens. Sound familiar? Well if it sounds familiar to you, then you deserve props for your knowledge of the coming Technological Singularity. What is the big secret you ask? The secret is that the quantum computer and singularity are one in the same.
