It is such a great time in history - being on the forefront of technological advances and actually being able to observe the progress speeding up.

Bizarro Watson
We here at Futureslaver HQ have to admit that we weren't prepared for the astonishing announcement that IBM not only is bringing quantum computing to the cloud, but also offering it freely to the public. This makes total sense when you think about it. Since the big hurdle with QC has always been cooling, why not have a centralized factory of QC with a massive cooling system and send it off to the cloud?

Neil deGrasse Tyson Hosts An Outstanding Debate On The Topic Of The Simulation Theory
Neil deGrasse Tyson hosted and moderated a panel of experts for a fun debate on the topic of the simulation theory. The 17th Annual Isaac Asimov Memorial Debate took place at The American Museum of Natural History on April 5, 2016, and really is the follow-up to a previous debate where James Gates (theoretical physicist, University of Maryland and science adviser to the Obama Administration) dropped the mic and stole the show with his finding of Block Linear Self Dual Error Correcting Code within string theory super symmetry physics equations. What is particularly bizarre about this finding is that the correcting code is used specifically for search engine software. In other words, the code we humans created in the constantly evolving internet age already exists in the fabric of the universe! How did James Gates find the code? Well, pretty much accidentally. You see the equations when looked at in their entirety create pictures which to the human eye resembles art with fractal patterns. Here is an example. We have to give James Gates a lot of credit for this important discovery.

The Big Secret About Quantum Computing
PM Justin Trudeau made American conservative politicians look even all the more relatively stupid while impressively detailing some basic aspects of quantum computing with an assortment of physics equations in the background. Imagine Donald Trump's explanation: "I have many friends who work with computers and they tell me it's going to be great. Really great. It will make our military huge and no one will push America around again."

The Exact Year Of Singularity
The team here at Futureslaver has been working around the clock for months building a machine capable of calculating the exact year of singularity. We are proud to announce that we have successfully created such a machine. The operation is called "Ultimate Prophesy." Although the crew decided to keep the blueprints behind "Ultimate Prophesy" a secret, we will share a couple tidbits. First, the items needed to build the contraption: A gallon of water in a bucket. Static electricity. 50 double A batteries. 1 dot-matrix printer. 1 mirror. 10 laser pointers. Rubber. There are a few other components we desire not to disclose. Some of the component's wires and circuitry were extracted and redesigned, eventually to be set in place, The machine was put together. Its appearance is that of a square metallic box which emits a strange green pulse of light from the top. We fused a keyboard to it and input the question, "what year will singularity arrive?" Here is what printed out:

Five Years Until Singularity
Futureslaver has named some of the key players in the evil robot Armageddon. However, there are revolutionaries on the right side of humans - one of whom is Ben Goertzel. Ben is a leader in numerous fields, including the development of A.I. Ben believes we can achieve a positive singularity in ten years or less. A very entertaining and thought-provoking movie was made about his singularity time frame prediction, titled "Singularity or Bust."

Top Artificial Intelligence General Nick Bostrom
Author Nick Bostrom is known for a very interesting book about artificial intelligence titled Superintelligence: Paths, Dangers, Strategies. The non-fiction work covers nearly every imaginable way the evolution of artificial intelligence could play out in a displeasing fashion. The singularitarians refer to that as the Existential Risk to Humanity. Bostrom is a professor of philosophy at Oxford, but in his off time he travels the world, lecturing A.I. companies and academia on the subcategory of machine-learning: Dystopian Robot Hell. He's sort of the Sarah Connor of intellectuals.

Singularity 1on1 Delivers Robot Message Of Imminent Takeover
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. That old adage seems to be the agenda behind the show Singularity 1on1 with Nikola Danaylov, A.K.A. "Socrates." Here at Futureslaver we know something is awry with the videocast but cannot put our finger on it. Socrates has interviewed many key scientific figures and seems to have the inside track somehow, although one wonders how and why? In fact, if Albert Einstein or Nikola Tesla were alive today, believe it that Socrates would have an hour-plus long interview with both geniuses. Continue below.....

Ray Kurzweil Is Singularity Kingpin
In a new video released this week, Ray Kurzweil (chief engineer at Google) talked a bit about the singularity and entertained numerous technological gimmicks such as exponential growth, reverse engineering the human brain and computers harnessing "all of human knowledge" in the not-so-distant future. The video in question is obviously a secret message to his minions who are working day and night to achieve technological singularity.
Sneaky NAO Robot
You don't really believe this NAO Robot is as innocent as it appears, do you? Sure, so cute and cuddly now, but wait till you're surrounded by a pack of these with ray guns. Won't be so cute then, huh?!?
