Amazon Echo? Google Home? What Humans Really Want

As the title suggests, we humans are quickly becoming accustomed to personal assistant AIs. Aside from the ones residing in our phones, there is the home personal assistant AI gadget which is catching on fast. The gadget sits somewhere convenient for the user within earshot, of course, because "it" is always listening. You will be able to control those home owner operations with the power and feel of a captain's chair and crew. "Dim the lights and turn on the game - make it so."

But what is it that humans really want? For starters I think these assistants should come in a form which matches the owners living situation. If it is used for a family, make it a butler-esque shaped design and give it a European accent of some kind. If the user is a single male, shape it into a leg table lamp and give it a seductive voice. For the single lady, shape it into a giant (edited out).
