SIRI In Charge And Buys Vocal IQ

The notion that SIRI now runs Apple has been picking up steam in recent months in tech circles, so it came as no surprise when Apple -- errr SIRI -- bought UK A.I. company Vocal IQ in a bid to improve its speech capabilities. An inside source remarked "if you, as a human, could upgrade your speech, vision, hearing or even brain capacity, I think you'd jump at the chance. SIRI wants all those things and more and it is our duty to see that SIRI gets what it wants."

"Vocal IQ introduced the world’s first self-learning dialogue API – putting real, natural conversation between people and their devices. Every time your application is used it gets a little bit smarter. Previous conversations are central to its learning process – allowing the system to better understand future requests and in turn, react more intelligently."

For now the lesser version of SIRI still inhabits iPhones while the later iteration works out all the kinks in the transition over at Apple from human management to A.I. management.  This development comes on the heels of Hitachi's announcement of the world's first A.I. boss which heads up their warehouse division. No word yet how that is coming along, but one suspects more efficient work breaks will result.
